Alex Withers is Managing Director of Digital Media at the United States Golf Association, a position he has held since August 2007.
Withers is responsible for the USGA's overall online and digital media functions. Since joining the Association, Withers has created an ambitious strategy for taking the USGA into the digital world.
With a Digital Media staff of nine, Withers re-launched usopen.com with interactive features including custom player tracking, real-time leader board updates, message boards, near-HD live streaming championship video and an in-depth multimedia course section which brought fans closer to the U.S. Open and presented the USGA course set-up strategy to create the toughest test in golf. With a unique visitor increase of over 700%, usopen.com set an internet record on playoff Monday for the most viewed sporting event online with 615,000 concurrent users and 2.9 million streams accessed.

Jen has over a decade of online advertising and marketing experience from around the world. Most recently, Jen was the head of Online Marketing & Development for Reed Business Information (parent of Variety.com) managing the growth of 60 ad-supported sites.
Matt Van Horn

Matt leads content syndication and strategic partnerships for Digg, a user driven social content website with over 35 million unique visitors monthly. One of the top 100 most trafficked sites on the internet, Digg allows users to discover and share content from anywhere on the web. There are no editors at Digg, content surfaces as voted on by users, providing a place where people can collectively determine the value of content.
Matt was also a co-founder of Zimride one of the top online ride sharing websites. Previously, Matt worked at Apple managing higher education marketing.

Previously, Mr. Butler was the CEO and founder of Time Matters Software. Time Matters is one of the most widely used information and document management systems in the US legal market. |
